Troop 506 COVID-19 Outdoor Camping Safety Guidelines

  1. Transportation to/from the campsite is the Scout family's responsibility. (No group travel)
  2. Each Scout is responsible for individual meal planning, shopping, and cooking. (No Patrol Cooking)
  3. Scouts can not share tents with other Scouts outside of their own family.
  4. All campers will have their temperature taken upon arrival and must be symptom-free. (Campers with temps above 100.4 will be sent home)
  5. Scouts are required to wear masks in group settings.
  6. Scouts must respect social distancing recommendations and keep six feet apart.

Troop 506 COVID-19 In-Person Meeting Safety Guidelines

  1. In-person meetings will be conducted outdoors.
  2. Meeting attendees must wear a mask/face covering at all times. 
  3. Temperature checks will be taken upon arrival. Attendees with a temp above 100.4 can not attend.
  4. Attendees must be symptom-free.
  5. Handshakes or other “person to person” contact should not occur.
  6. Most outdoor restroom facilities remain closed. Please plan accordingly.
  7. All Youth Protection Policies continue to apply.
  8. Family members not actively participating in the meeting should remain in their vehicles or at a safe distance.
