Lost Sea Caving

Troop 506 went on an epic subterranean journey to Tennessee for the Lost Sea adventure, where we explored the largest underground lake in America, sitting 140 feet below the surface! This wasn't just a simple walk-through; we followed in the footsteps of history, channeling the spirit of the first recorded cavern explorations in the U.S., and crawled through tight passages and got authentic Georgia red clay on our boots. After a day of navigating massive formations of onyx-marble stalactites and stalagmites, we did something few people ever get to experience, spending the night sleeping deep within the heart of the cavern.
